After 17 years as a public school teacher, I’ve learned a few things about people — how to connect with them, how to make them feel comfortable, and how to bring out their best side. Those same skills have become some of my biggest strengths as a wedding photographer. I’ve spent years socializing with people I’ve just met, communicating with all kinds of personalities, and adapting to whatever the day brings. Now, I get to use that experience in a completely different setting — behind the lens, capturing one of the most meaningful days in a couple’s life.
There’s something truly magical about wedding days. They’re full of energy, emotion, laughter, and tiny moments that tell a much bigger story. I love getting to observe it all — the bride’s excitement, the groom’s nervous smile, the family hugs, the quiet in-between moments, and the wild dance floor celebrations. Every wedding is different, and I get a front-row seat to the joy that unfolds.
And honestly, I just love to help. Need someone to move chairs? I got you. Need someone to keep Aunt Bethany company while you sneak away for a quick break? No big deal. I’ll jump in wherever I’m needed, because your wedding day should feel effortless and full of joy — not stress. I’m there to make sure things run smoothly, capture every beautiful detail, and maybe even sing along to Dancing Queen (yes, I know every single word).
I was made to photograph weddings. It combines everything I love — people, storytelling, emotion, and service. And when the day is over, you won’t be waiting long to relive it. I deliver hundreds of edited photos within just 2–3 business days, because I know how exciting it is to see those moments right away.
If you’re planning your wedding in Springfield, Missouri or the surrounding areas, and want a photographer who will celebrate, laugh, and maybe even dance alongside you — I’d be honored to capture your day.
